Activision going in different direction with Tony Hawk 10
Activision has said they need to step up innovation on its Tony Hawk series. The move comes after EA's new IP Skate outseld Tony Hawk by 2:1 last year. Activision only have about 9 months to change the game if is to meet its annual release this fall.
Bizarre: Racing games becoming extremely niche
Talking to Future Publishing, Gareth Wilson of Bizarre has expressed worry that in the future racing games may become an extremely niche area. Wilson believes that developers need to find a way of making racing games more mass market and figuring out how their next big racing game can sell over Call of Duty 5.
